These GOOD Editions are derived from Jeff Jackson's acrylic on panels. They are images of Italian architecture. The artist remarked, "I found the Italian Architecture so unusual, that at first it was difficult to record what was before me. The only way I was able to sketch was if I looked at my subject matter and drew without looking at my page. I would feel my way through my drawings. What I discovered when I analyzed my sketches was that I had developed a kind of short-hand notation of buildings and details. I later deciphered sketches to create final paintings."

The Toronto-born Jeff Jackson attended the School of Architecture, University of Waterloo from 1971 to 1974 and the Ontario College of Art from 1978 to 1980. Jeff's work as an artist has appeared in many places. He has executed commissions for sculptures, posters, and postage stamps. His illustration work for magazines has been published internationally. Jeff has been the recipient of several awards for his work, including 3 Gold Awards from the Advertising and Design Club of Canada. He has exhibited his work in galleries in Toronto, New York, Paris and Tokyo.
